E-Commerce with an emphasis on Social Technologies
Last week our discussion was about the Roux. This week, it’s all about the Holy Trinity: Bell Peppers, Onions, and Celery. (Yes this really is a recipe for business success.)
But first, Mike shared thoughts on recent comments about e-commerce and the insurance industry made at a the Professional Insurance Marketing Association (PIMA) board meeting in April that I heard about through the grapevine. Mike had some interesting observations. Mike also commented on Roy Pratt’s podcast a couple weeks ago. That was interesting, too.
My favorite part was on Onions and Process Innovation, and how insurance companies need to design insurance products that are suitable for the Web. There are some critical actuarial differences insurers need to pay attention to. Good stuff…
